Safety
Felk pistols are designed with safety in mind. They are as innovative as they are safe. All models have three safeties:-
- trigger safety
- firing pin block
- prevention of accidental disengagement of the striker if the pistol is dropped when in the ready to fire position (half cocked).
There are no external safeties to worry about. All the safeties are disengaged when the trigger is pulled and re-engaged when the trigger is released. It is not possible to fire a shot without pulling the trigger.
The advantage of the safe double action trigger is the user does not have to worry about de-activating external safeties. This is important in stress situations. All concentration can be devoted to the tactical task ahead.
Versatility
The versatility of the Felk pistol is second to none. Most parts are interchangable between models. For example, by swapping the slide/barrel combination and magazine, the same frame can be used for 9x19, .357, .40 or .45. This is a world first!
The quick action slide release lever located inside the trigger guard allows the change to be made in just six seconds. It’s the fastest slide release mechanism in the business.
Ergonomic Design
The ergonomic design of the grip and it’s ability to point straight at the target when the arm is extended to fire, makes the Felk one of the best pistols on the market.
The ergonomic design of the grip helps the pistol to fit like a glove in the palm of your hand. This, combined with it’s pointability and exceptionally short trigger reach, makes the pistol suitable for both men and women with small hands who would otherwise have trouble firing a pistol.
