Jockey Wheels
The TF Jockey Wheels have a Registered design compact swivel bracket, it will adjust to variable height by just turning it around 180 degrees and using the extra holes on the bracket. As much as 75 mm can be gained or lowered, depending on the size of the drawbar used. This is extra adjustment to the winding up or down with the crank handle.
The registered part of the bracket is the design which makes the bracket, in comparison to others, very compact and strong. This bracket will not twist out of shape, as is known to happen to other larger and cumbersome brackets in all the other brands, see right photo above. Because of the design, we can use a much smaller and more compact bracket.
The Jockey wheels, including the steel hubs in the wheels, are hot dip galvanized to give the J/W the best protection from rust possible. We found that zinc plating does not offer much protection at all, the J/W
start to get rusty very soon after fitting them, specially to a boat trailer, as again seen in the photo on the right above.
The crank handles pivot and are made from steel, not cast alloy. That stops them from breaking, as do most cast alloy crank handles, which are used by on other brands.
The advantages are all there and at no extra cost. You will not get a better, stronger J/W anywhere at any price.
