Q: Are you Flek Trailers?
A: No, we are Felk as in “elk” Trailers, how may we help you?

Q: Do you sell direct to the public?
A: Yes. We sell all our products direct to the public.

Q: Do you make trailers on the premises or are they imported?
A: All our trailers are made in our factory at Warners Bay NSW.

Q: Can you design a trailer to suit my boat?
A: Absolutely we can. We have a RTA qualified engineer with 35 years experience on site to advise you of your needs.

Q: How do I know if my trailer needs brakes?
A: If your combined load (including the weight of the trailer) stays under 750kg your trailer should not need brakes fitted.
If your combined load (including weight of the trailer) tips over 750kg you are required by law to fit brakes to the trailer.

Q: Do I need a multi roller trailer or a skid trailer?
A: Generally speaking multi-roller trailers are designed for fiberglass boats and skid trailers are designed for aluminum boats.

Q: Can you repair or modify my current trailer?
A: Yes we repair and modify trailers on a daily basis.

Q: Do I need to take my boat off the trailer for a repair or modification?
A: This depends on the type of repair or modification being performed on your trailer.

Q: Do Felk Trailers come with a “Warranty”.
A: Yes they do come with a “back to base” warranty. For more details Click here

Q: Can I re-galvanise an old trailer?
A: No. The galvanizing plant will no longer risk explosions from unforeseen rust in the sections of RHS.

Q: Do you sell second hand trailers?
A: No. We are not licensed to deal in second hand goods.

Q: Do you hire trailers?
A: No we do not hire out trailers.

Q: Do you make and fit tow bars?
A: No but we do sell all styles of couplings to fit to your tow bar.

Q: Can you pink slip my trailer?
A: Yes, we are an RTA eSafety Check Station.

Q: Can you blue slip my trailer?
A: No, we are not authorized to issue blue slips.

Q: How do I know that I am getting a quality product?
A: Felk Trailers have been building and designing trailers for almost 40yrs in the same location. If we didn’t produce a quality product we would no longer be in business. When talking “trailers” most people know the name “FELK”.

Q: Are you open on the weekend?
A: “Get Felked” we like to go camping and fishing too! However we are open from 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 2pm Friday.
